Alex Jones is a US based journalist who has made some startling and disturbing documentaries about the layers of secrecy, corruption and would you believe - the occult - in the US government.  The first movie of his I saw was Dark Secrets Inside Bohemian Grove.  It's a startling tale about a place in California called Bohemian Grove where US politicians and other world leaders congregate and supposedly plot the construction of a world government and a New World Order.  He amazingly infiltrates this highly secure compound and films some of the bizarre goings-on.  No this isn't fiction, it's a documentary.  It's (supposedly) real.  Some of his themes have the paranoid slant of somenone grappling with the early stages of schizophrenia, but if even 10% of what he's talking about is true we are all in deep deep trouble.   Check it out and if you're interested here's some links to his other movies:
